Story
Hello everyone!
I recently ran the Paris Marathon and am now prepping to run Hackney Half Marathon on May 18th for Origin, a charity dedicated to male cancer.
Male cancer is a significant health issue impacting many individuals, both young and old. Over 58,000 people will be diagnosed with prostate, testicular or penile cancer every year in the UK.
It is a particularly meaningful cause - my dad was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. Two of my closest friends' partners have also been diagnosed with testicular cancer, at 30.
I hope to raise more awareness about male cancer and promote conversations about early detection and management.
Please consider donating to a great cause. Your support can make a real difference by funding crucial research and resources that benefit those affected.
All donations are gratefully recieved and could make the following impact:
£10 could pay for a telephone call with an Orchid Nurse Specialist on our Freephone Helpline;
£20 could cover the cost of male cancer information being sent to 17 people following a male cancer concern or diagnosis;
£50 could cover a vital counselling session for those diagnosed with testicular or penile cancer;
£200 could cover a talk within the community about the risk factors, signs and symptoms of male cancer to promote early diagnosis.
