Story
Alyce, Sarah and Sarah are running the Great North Run together for a number of reasons:
Firstly, to raise money for Place2Be which are an incredible charity that bring mental health awareness, support, and services into Education throughout the UK.
Secondly as a personal challenge, Alyce (Bidds) and Sarah (Gill) are keen runners and Sarah (Blick) aspires to become one.
Finally, after meeting over a decade ago in London working for a brilliant agency, whose ethos was to create great things for companies that do good. We find ourselves here, busy women juggling work, babies and children training to run our first half-marathon. And yes, the alone time training is lovely, podcasts to listen to, own thoughts to be had but the running is a killer!
So please sponsor us, if you can, and honestly it will keep us motivated.
More About Place2Be
One in six children and young people now have a diagnosable mental health issue. That’s five children in every classroom with a condition like depression or anxiety.
Place2Be is the UK's leading school-based mental health charity, providing support to children, families and school-based staff when they need it most.
Please help me support Place2Be’s vital work, and together we can make a real difference to children's mental health and ensure that children don’t have to face mental health problems alone.
