During the month of November, various teachers will be taking part in a full 30 day challenge to help raise money for an excellent, local charity; Washington Mind.

Washington Mind are this year’s chosen charity, selected by the students at Biddick Academy, and there is no better cause than something based right here in the heart of Washington.

So far on the event list we have:

- Mr Jordan and Mr Brown, running 100 miles over the full month of November

- Mrs Hodgson and Miss Blanchard, running 100km over the full month of November

- Mr Cunningham, Mr Delf, Mr Osa-Nappier and Mr Robertson, completing 100 press ups each day in November

- Miss Ramshaw, completing 100 squats each day in November

- Miss Jeffries, rowing 100km over the full month of November

- Mr Wood, climbing 1000m over the full month of November

- PE department, walking 100,000 steps collectively each day in November
