About ICPCN
ICPCN is proud to partner with The Bidpath Foundation, Wild in Art, The National Brain Appeal, and The Brain Tumour Charity for the Gavel Art Trail & Auction, raising funds and awareness for children’s palliative care and brain tumour care in the UK.
The International Children’s Palliative Care Network (ICPCN) is a global charity dedicated to improving access to palliative care for over 21 million children worldwide. With members in more than 140 countries, ICPCN is the global leader in children’s palliative care (CPC), ensuring every child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their family receive the care and support they deserve.
Join The Bidpath Foundation for an inspiring journey through creativity and philanthropy, where art meets purpose in a unique auction experience, The Gavel Art Trail & Auction.
Each gavel will be auctioned to raise funds for three incredible charities; ICPCN being one of them.
What is Children’s Palliative Care?
Children’s Palliative Care is the active care of a child’s body, mind, and spirit, while supporting their family and mobilising community resources. CPC improves quality of life for children and families facing life-threatening illness by providing pain and symptom relief alongside spiritual and psychosocial support from diagnosis through end of life and into bereavement.
Despite urgent need, fewer than 10% of children globally have access to CPC. ICPCN exists to close this gap.
The Impact of Your Support
All donations will go directly towards ICPCN’s core work, helping us improve access to children’s palliative care worldwide. This includes:
Sharing children’s voices – through a book of stories highlighting the real experiences of children and families living with serious illness.
Strengthening advocacy – by advancing a global campaign to engage governments and health ministries in making CPC available for every child.
Driving innovation – through our new global research hub, bringing together experts worldwide to collaborate and share evidence.
Equipping professionals – by delivering education and training to healthcare and social care teams around the world.
Developing guidance – such as new resources on pain management and practical guides to help establish children’s palliative care services.
Every gift supports our global mission to ensure that no child suffers unnecessarily.
