Pawel Jarza - Kilimanjaro to Coast (K2C) Challenge

British International Freight Association BIFA is raising money for Transaid

Kilimanjaro to Coast · 17 September 2026 to 26 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Founded by Save the Children, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and its Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, Transaid works with communities, partners, and governments to address transport challenges across sub-Saharan Africa.

Story

In support of Transaid, BIFA's Policy & Compliance Director, Pawel Jarza, will be taking on the Kilimanjaro to Coast Challenge in September!

Pawel Jarza:

I’m excited (and maybe a little nervous!) to be taking part in the Kilimanjaro to Coast (K2C) Challenge in support of Transaid.

Together with industry colleagues, I’ll be cycling (no, it won’t be an e-bike!) from the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro to the Tanzanian coast, pushing myself physically while raising funds for a charity that does incredible work across sub-Saharan Africa.

As part of the British International Freight Association (BIFA) community, it’s particularly special to be involved this year as BIFA is the headline sponsor of the K2C challenge. Transaid has strong roots in the logistics sector and works with partners to improve road safety, train professional drivers, and help ensure people can access vital healthcare services through better transport.

Taking on this challenge is nothing compared to the impact these programmes have on communities, and every donation will help Transaid continue its vital work.

So, if you can, then please support the challenge, your contribution would be hugely appreciated!

Thank you!
