🏉 WHY ARE WE DOING IT? — RUGBY FOR HEROES
Behind every mountain, every kilometre and every painful step is a cause that means so much more than reaching a summit.
Rugby for Heroes is a fantastic charity dedicated to supporting serving and former members of our Armed Forces as they make the often difficult transition from military service into civilian life.
Through the values of rugby — teamwork, discipline, respect, camaraderie and belonging — the charity helps individuals rebuild confidence, develop new skills, form friendships and find a renewed sense of purpose.
For many who have served, leaving the military can be one of the toughest challenges they will ever face.
The camaraderie, structure and sense of belonging that military life provides can be difficult to replace.
That’s where Rugby for Heroes makes a real difference.
Our challenges in the mountains are temporary. For some of our veterans, the challenges they face can last a lifetime.
If we can put ourselves through a little pain, discomfort and hardship to help those who have sacrificed so much for others, then every step will be worth it.
💪🏼 THREE CHALLENGES. ONE MISSION.
We’re not doing this for medals, records or recognition.
We’re doing it to raise awareness, raise vital funds and give something back to the men and women who have served our country.
Whether it’s a donation, sponsorship, sharing our fundraising page or simply spreading the word, every bit of support will make a difference.
The mountains will test us. The cause will drive us. And the people we’re doing it for will inspire us.
THE BIG 3 CHALLENGE
3 Countries. 3 Epic Adventures. 1 Incredible Charity.
