Story
In memory of Chez, on Saturday 28th November, Tash will be cutting off over two feet of her hair to raise money for The Little Princess Trust.
We’re a group of family and friends coming together to do something special in memory of someone who meant so much to us.
Chez sadly passed away at just 17 after battling cancer for several years. This year, she would have celebrated her 40th birthday. Although she was taken from us far too young, we want to mark this milestone by doing something positive in her memory and helping other children and young people facing their own difficult journeys.
The charity provides real-hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair through cancer treatment and other conditions. Tash will be donating her hair so it can be used to help make wigs, giving someone else a little confidence and comfort at a time when they need it most.
We know that losing your hair can be about so much more than how you look. For a child or young person already going through so much, having a wig made from real hair can help them feel more like themselves again. Being able to support this work is a small way we can make a difference in Chez’s memory.
We’re also organising a fundraising event at The Punch Hotel, Chapels, on Saturday 28th November, from 3pm until late.
There’ll be live music, karaoke, children’s games and activities, raffles, a duck race and more, bringing family, friends and the local community together for a really special cause.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us raise money for The Little Princess Trust and support the amazing work they do for children and young people.
If you can donate, share our page, come along to the event or help spread the word, we’d be incredibly grateful.
This is about remembering Chez, celebrating the life she should have had, and turning a difficult loss into something that can bring a little hope to someone else.
Thank you for helping us make a difference in Chez’s memory. 💗
