The Big Charity Sing
27th September 2026 10am - 4pm
Hanham Community Centre, Bristol BS15 3EJ
Join The Bristol Mix for a fun-filled day of singing, laughter and fundraising in support of Prostate Cancer UK.
Many of us know someone—a friend, partner, father, brother or colleague—whose life has been touched by prostate cancer. Together, we're singing to support those we love and to help fund the research that could save lives.
Whether you're a seasoned singer or have never sung in a choir before, everyone aged 18+ is welcome. You'll spend the day learning an iconic 80s pop hit before performing it together in a relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere.
The day will be led by our multi-award winning director, Linda Corcoran, who is well known for her boundless enthusiasm and passion for harmony singing. Linda works full time as a vocal coach and choir director, and also runs Go Vocal - two community pop and rock choirs in Bristol and Cheltenham.

If you can't join us, or would simply like to support our fundraising, we'd be very grateful for a donation. You can donate through our JustGiving page at any time, or if you're booking a place to take part, you can make your donation on the day. Every gift, big or small, helps fund life-saving research and provide vital support for men and their families.
About Prostate Cancer UK
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, affecting 1 in 8 men in the UK, and 1 in 4 Black men. Because it often has no symptoms in its early stages, research and early diagnosis are vital.
Prostate Cancer UK funds pioneering research, provides trusted support and information, and campaigns for better diagnosis and treatment. Every pound raised brings us closer to a future where fewer families lose someone they love to prostate cancer.
