Biggar young farmers fundraiser for Neils Hugs Foundation

Biggar Young Farmers is raising money for Neils Hugs Foundation
Our aim is to help raise awareness of suicide in the local community and support families who have been affected by suicide. We can also signpost people to different charities and organisations that we feel may be able to help based on individual needs.

Story

This year, we are proud to support Neils Hugs Foundation, an incredible charity dedicated to helping those affected by suicide and mental health challenges. Our goal is not only to raise funds to sustain the foundation’s vital work, but also to raise awareness about mental health, particularly within the rural farming community.

We invite you to get involved by joining us for a Walk & Talk from Tarbrax to West Linton on July 12th.

Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting several fundraising events, including a charity auction at our annual stock judging competition in August, and a Pie, Beer and Sheer competition at Carnwath shows speed sheer.

Additionally, 12 of our current and past members will be taking on the challenge of walking the National 3 Peaks in under 24 hours, on the 26th/27th of August.
