Pistons to Places is a fundraising event where teams take cars costing £1,000 or less from St Ives Cambridgeshire all the way to Pisa. 30+ cars, 4 days, 2000 miles. We are all raising money for a fantastic charity called Little Miracles who Little Miracles who supports families of children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions. They provide everything from day to day support to activities, days out and trips for their members. So help us help them by digging deep and giving what you can!

As soon as I saw an event happening taking questionable cars on a crazy adventure there was only one person to take with equally questionable automotive habits and with one quick message, Alex was in too.

Trawling through endless Facebook sales posts I was casually looking at cars and a non running mini cooper S appeared on my screen and within 2 hours it was mine. The next day it arrived on my driveway and the fun began!
