Story

Thanks for supporting our fundraising.

My Dad, Carl, was diagnosed with cancer a number of years ago and sadly lost his battle on September 6th 2024 at the age of 62.

On the 1 year anniversary of his death, myself and Ben Smith will be completing an Olympic length triathlon, along with an open invite for family and friends to join for as much or as little as they wish. (Contact me if you want to join!)

Volunteers (Victims?!) agreeing to join Ben and me so far:

Swimming:

Chip Baker

Nathan Birch

Zoe Lister

Cycling:

Ben Kirkby

Dom Hardy

Nathan Parker

Jed Wallace

Abi Symonds

Nathan Birch

Running:

Scott Rutterford

David Lloyd

Nathan Birch

Ben and me will be completing the whole lot, which consists of swimming 1500m, cycling 40km and running 10km. The world record is 1h 46mins, which we're looking to run close, and is definitely in sight!

Macmillan provided a massive amount of support for my Dad throughout his life, so this is a chance for me to repay some of that kindness and help the amazing work they do.
