My husband Dave and I are doing a charity event in April for Breast Cancer Now.

Dave’s beautiful sister Bev was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer on 5th December 2024, which incidentally was the same day that their mum passed away.

Bev fell asleep peacefully for one last time on 12th March 2025 surrounded by her family.

Bev kept symptoms hidden from her family and we want to raise money and spread the importance of checking your breasts. We also want to share our story so others may see signs in their family and friends we may have missed.

We are going to cycle 200k throughout the month of April. So, 100k each over 30 days. We are not the fittest and I have no balance🙈 so I am on a trike, but we are determined to raise money and turn a negative situation in to a positive!

Other family members such Julie, and Jamie will be joining us on some rides and raising awareness too. In fact Julie has decided to ride 100k too! So that's a 300k total forthe three of us!
