This summer (18th June - 14th July) I will be cycling from Bilbao to Berlin, whilst raising funds for Action Against Hunger.

Length: 2500km Ascent: 30,000m Time: 25 days

Route: rolling off the ferry in Bilbao, crossing the Pyrenees, traversing the south coast of France, climbing over the Alps into Switzerland, Liechtenstein and then Germany, finishing at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin for the Euros final!

Why?: Action Against Hunger predict, prevent and treat life-threatening hunger. The aim is to save the lives of vulnerable people affected by hunger. They are a humanitarian agency, operating in 55 countries worldwide (including the UK), responding to conflict, disasters and emergencies whenever they happen. They are at the forefront of saving lives during major crises, such as the ongoing Gaza-Israel conflict.
