We are fundraising in memory of our wonderful mum and nan, who we recently lost to bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma).

Bile duct cancer is rare and incredibly difficult to diagnose in its early stages. Symptoms are often vague and non-specific, which means many people — like our mum — are diagnosed when the disease is already advanced.

By the time Mum received her diagnosis, there were no curative treatment options available to her. No family should have to hear those words.

That is why we are raising money for AMMF – The Cholangiocarcinoma Charity. They fund vital research into earlier detection, improved treatments and greater awareness of this devastating disease.

Earlier diagnosis can mean more treatment options. More options can mean more time. And more time means everything.

If you are able to donate, you are helping to fund research that could one day give other families hope where we had none.

Our mum always gave generously to charities throughout her life, so being able to support a cause that is now so close to our hearts means more to us than we can put into words.
