Team Bilfinger UK is gearing up for an adventure challenge - the Beast Race 2024 at Knockburn Loch on Saturday, September 21, 2024. We have 26 participants from our Aberdeen office ready to conquer the 10km obstacle course across the rugged Scottish terrain. There is giant water slides, icy loch water, thick mud, and swamp crossings to name a few of the obstacles. Quite the change of scenery for the mostly office based group!

But there's more to this race than just personal triumph. Team Bilfinger UK is also on a mission to make a difference in their local community by fundraising for Charlie House, an excellent local Aberdeen charity. For a number of years now, Bilfinger UK has been a proud supporter of Charlie House and their mission to improve the lives of babies, children, and young people in the North East of Scotland who face life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Since 2018, Charlie House have been aiming to raise £8 million to build a dedicated support centre in Aberdeen. This centre will be a lifeline for families who currently must travel over 100 miles to access the specialized support they need.
