In memory of Bill Chalmers: fundraising for Crossroads Care Attendant Scheme

Lee Chalmers is raising money for Crossroads (South Ayrshire) Care Attendant Scheme
In memory of Bill Chalmers
Our principal objective is to provide a domiciliary service to relieve carers in South Ayrshire from the stress of caring for persons who need constant supervision. Include those who have a physical, mental or sensory impairment, are frail and confused, are chronically sick, or are terminally ill.

Story

Our beloved Bill Chalmers - husband, father, grandfather - passed away peacefully in the early morning of Dec 19th. He had been struggling with dementia for some years so the passing was a mercy, if a massive shock. During these last years mum, Margaret, was supported massively by Crossroads South Ayrshire Care Attendant Scheme.

After initial contact with Tracy in the office, Gary would visit Bill once a week and watch endless war movies and chat about motorbikes and the like, allowing Margaret some much needed time to recharge.

We are so grateful for their kindness and understanding in these times of need and would dearly love to raise some money to support their charitable work.
