Story
I will be running a bake sale at The Cumberland Arms in The Ouseburn on Sunday the 26th of November to raise funds for Unicef. We will have cakes and bakes from myself and other local venders, as well as a raffle and cake decorating for kids. Raffle tickets will be available to buy on the day or online via this page. Details on how to purchase raffle tickets online are at the bottom of this page.
I am, along with many others, deeply troubled by the horrific ongoing violence in the Middle East.
It is estimated that over 4000 innocent children have been killed in Gaza and countless more seriously injured. Children across the board in this conflict have been exposed to unspeakable violence and are experiencing trauma that is likely to last a lifetime. As a mother, and human, this breaks my heart.
Unicef are calling for an immediate ceasefire, and the establishment of safe routes for humanitarian supplies. Gaza’s children urgently need significantly more aid.
I am proud to be raising money for Unicef as they are a humanitarian organisation who advocate for the safety of children and families no matter who or where they are. The killing of children must stop.
If you can’t join us for the bake sale feel free to make a donation via this page if you wish. Thank you 💓
