London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·

Our goal is to identify and remove the barriers disabled people face in accessing sport and physical activity through projects, advise and influencing. We want to empower and inspire communities to be inclusive. We can work together to realise individual potential and aspirations.

Story

I can't believe I'm actually doing this... running the London Marathon 🏃‍♀️! Excitement and nerves are kicking in, but it’s all for an incredible cause – supporting the Richard Whitehead Foundation 🌟.

I have been lucky enough to see first hand how the charity has had transformative impact on the lives of disabled individuals and their families. If you haven’t heard of the foundation before their aim is to support and increase opportunities for disabled people by removing barriers to participation and integration in sport. They provide access to life-changing mentoring, advice, equipment, and opportunities that spark a sustained lifetime intervention. You can find out more here: https://www.whitehead.foundation/

I’m reaching out for your support, not only to help me cross the finish line, but to make a lasting impact on the lives of the those the foundation serves. Your donation, no matter the size, can truly make a difference.

Thank you so much for reading, and if you are able to, donating!

See you at the finish line 🎉
