On the 26 of April 2026, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for Farm Africa, a charity that works with farmers across eastern Africa to help them grow more, sell more, and protect the environment they depend on.

Farm Africa supports smallholder farmers with practical skills, access to markets, and sustainable farming methods so they can build resilient livelihoods and long-term food security for their communities. Their work helps families not just survive, but thrive - even in the face of climate change and economic uncertainty.

This cause is particularly close to my heart. My family has been farming in Zambia for over 100 years, and I’ve seen first-hand how vital farming is to local communities. Supporting farmers and the community who work the land isn’t just important to me - it’s part of my family’s history and values.

Running 26.2 miles will be a huge challenge, but it pales in comparison to the daily challenges faced by many farming families. Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference and help Farm Africa continue their incredible work.
