Story

Hi, I’m Billy and I am running the 2026 Nottingham Robin Hood Half marathon on the 27th September.

I am running for Brain Tumour Research, in memory of our family friend Ed, who died of brain cancer in 2025 at the age of 52.

This is my first half marathon, and I am hoping to raise lots of money for a great cause, with any donations being greatly appreciated 👍

See below for more information on the charity 👇

The charity is the leading voice of the brain tumour community. Unique and much needed, we are the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research into brain tumours.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
