Volunteers of America, Utah's Youth Resource Center is a drop-in resource center and emergency shelter for all youth aged 15 through 22 who are imminently at-risk or experiencing homelessness.

We provide essential basic need items, three hot meals a day, pantry food, showers, laundry, life-skills groups, housing and employment case management, dental and medical care assistance, and access to mental health services on-site.

Each year we throw this party to help with providing funds and in-kind donations to this vulnerable population. Plus as gay men it allows us to support our LGBTQ+ youth that experience high rates of homelessness. LGBTQ+ youth make up approximately 7 to 8% of the youth population however, make up about 30% to 40% of the homeless youth population according to certain studies.
