1 in 5 of us will develop a lung condition during our lifetime, and someone in the UK is diagnosed every minute.

I’m fundraising for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity dedicated to fighting for everyone’s right to breathe.

This cause is very close to our hearts. My mum had asthma since childhood and lived with chronic asthma for around 30 years. About 15 years ago she was also diagnosed with bronchiectasis. Despite these challenges, she continued to live her life with strength and determination.

This charity meant a great deal to her. In her memory, and in lieu of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to Asthma + Lung UK so that more research and support can be provided to people living with lung conditions.

Just £24 could support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research. Every donation, no matter how small, helps bring us closer to a world where everyone can breathe more easily.
