Story

Bionical Emas is delighted to announce that Hannah’s Hope has been selected as their Charity of the Year 2026. The Hannah’s Hope Teenage Cancer Respite Retreat offers dedicated support to teenagers and young adults facing the unimaginable challenge of a cancer diagnosis.

Hannah’s Hope provides vital respite breaks for teenagers and young adults facing a cancer diagnosis, giving families precious time together away from the pressures of treatment. The charity was founded in honour of Hannah, who was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma in 2022 at just 19 years old. After major brain surgery and an intensive year of treatment, Hannah accessed a life‑saving investigational medicine that has helped stabilise her condition. Her resilience continues to inspire the work the charity does today.

‘Each year, our Charity Committee runs a thorough selection process to identify our Charity of the Year. For 2026, we’re pleased to be supporting Hannah’s Hope. Their mission aligns closely with our own values, and the Respite Retreat’s proximity to our headquarters gives us a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact within our local community.’

Tom Watson, CEO, Bionical Emas

‘With the support of Bionical, Hannah’s Hope aims to change lives by bringing families together after a devastating diagnosis, reducing isolation, and supporting healing beyond the hospital walls.’
