Enzo came into our care a few weeks ago. He is an elderly, one eyed, gentle giant who as you can see, has not had the easiest of lives and if he could speak, we’re sure he’d have many tales to tell. He does love to have a good old deep howl in his kennel and chatter with his kennel buddies. He really is a sweet boy who loves a good fuss.

Enzo was quite underweight when he came in and so we’ve been giving him extra meals every day to try and build him up. We did fear he might be dropping weight due to a medical condition and over the last few days, Enzo has started struggling to keep his food down. We visited the vet this morning and unfortunately, it’s not looking good for our old boy and he will require expensive ongoing treatment moving forward which sadly, may only be for a few months.

Our priority is keeping Enzo happy and he will receive whatever treatment he needs to ensure he remains happy and comfortable.

We will of course give regular updates on how Enzo is doing and we’re all hoping we can keep him a happy boy for as long as possible.
