Birch Hill Dog Rescue Vet Bills

A plea for help 🙏
We feel we’re always asking at the moment, but if you don’t ask….💔
On Sunday, one of our long term residents was rushed to the emergency vets with Pyometra. Thankfully, she came through the operation yesterday and is now back with us recovering. The vet bill for her treatment is around £3,000.
We have 2 further operations in the pipeline, firstly Oliver may unfortunately need to have his tail shortened due to continuously damaging the tip (with his wagging) and so shortening may be the only option moving forward to prevent further injury. Secondly, newcomer Bodie has a condition where his eye lashes grow inward which can be very uncomfortable indeed and so corrective surgery may be needed for him.
Sadly, we do not have a lot of funds in the bank. We do not and never have been a charity that has large reserves like other big name charities. We do what we do with very little and the sad reality is, a large vet bill like the one we have incoming could cripple us completely. 😢
We’re asking once again if anyone can help by donating even just £1. We’ve set up a new JustGiving page dedicated to our veterinary fees. Every penny donated here will go towards these fees (giftaid can also be added where eligible)
Thank you, as always for helping us keep doing what we do. We know times are very hard for everyone. 💙
