Story

We will be taking on a 52k hiking challenge in the Lake District, climbing mountains and reaching an overall elevation of 2858m. This challenge hopes to raise £1000 for Rainbows Children's Hospice, in memory of Nevaeh Cunningham, one of our pupils who sadly passed away during the summer. Her family said that Rainbows have been a great source of comfort for Nevaeh, just as they have supported many other young people within the Birch Wood community.

"Rainbows cares for hundreds of families every year who have a baby, child or young person with a serious or terminal illness that means that their lives will be shorter than most"

This is a massive challenge for all of us, but we will be thinking of Nevaeh and her family every step of the way.
