Fundraiser for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity

Riley East-Paddock is raising money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity

24 Hour Three Peaks Challenge · 22 August 2026

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.

Story

Me, Leo Croft, Tom Hardwick and Liam Walker will be attempting the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours, which consists of climbing Ben Nevis, in Scotland, Scafell Pike, in England, and Snowdon, in Wales. This is for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity which is a wonderful charity, because of their focus on helping ill children and their families. It provides life-saving treatment with its special care, and support to thousands of children who are currently, or have experienced a tough time.

By taking on this challenge, we hope to raise a little bit of money to help the charity invest in new equipment, support research and also create a better experience for the children who frequently visit the hospital, and also their families during the hard times they experience.

This challenge is physically and mentally demanding but the thought of helping young children will push us towards the finish line. The pain and suffering these children go through everyday is unimaginable, so doing this is the least we can do to help them. Do not feel like you have to donate, but ANY donation, no matter the amount, will be heavily appreciated and will help us make a real difference.
