We are walking again this year in memory of our beautiful son and brother Jannik, who died suddenly in January 2015 aged 21. We miss him more than ever but we are also grateful for all the wonderful and amazing memories he gave us.

We need to continue to raise awareness of Young Sudden Cardiac Death (YSCD) and we need to raise funds so that research can be undertaken to help us understand and prevent these tragic deaths. CRY provides free heart screening for all 14-35 year olds and funding is also needed to be able to continue this very valuable service. Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
