Bishop Fleming Bristol Bridges fundraiser for Southmead Hospital Charity

As part of our 1% for Communities commitment, we have nominated Southmead Hospital Charity as the partner charity for our Bristol and Bath offices for a second year.
Introducing the Bristol Bridges Challenge - 16th July 2025
Did you know there are 45 bridges that traverse Bristol’s waterways? From Brunel’s Clifton Suspension Bridge, to Pero’s Bridge highlighting Bristol’s historical past, or recent architectural additions like the wavy Castle Bridge, we’ve created a route that takes in many of Bristol’s iconic bridges, from historic landmarks to modern marvels.
We’ve teamed up with the organiser behind The Great West Run (and with permission of Bristol City Council) to create a unique challenge that takes in most of the bridges along a 13.2 mile route (a shorter route will also be available).
We’ve created a fantastic new charity challenge for our people and we’re inviting our clients and intermediaries to join us! A perfect blend of fun, fitness, and community spirit, our challenge presents an opportunity to spend few hours out of the office, recharging your mental health, boosting fitness, having great conversations, all whilst raising valuable funds for this amazing charity
Southmead Hospital Charity is the official charity of North Bristol NHS Trust. Working with their dedicated donors and fundraisers, and together with Trust colleagues, they aim to deliver world-class projects and comforting items over and above what the NHS funds. From pioneering research, cutting-edge equipment, and healing spaces, to patient, family and staff support, donations make the biggest difference to patients at NBT. Every pound donated stays local, enriching the healthcare the Trust provides to over one million people every year.
