I am a Trustee for the 1st Bistre Scout Group and also involved with the Annual Santa Float that has been coming around Buckley Town for the past 9+ years.

This event helps us raise money every year for our group to use for activities, equipment and fun for the children along with the upkeep and regular costs of our minibus which we also use to pull the Santa Float. Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

Year after year Buckley enjoy Santa coming to say hi to all the kids this year Santa will be still coming to wave and spread a little festive cheer so keep a look out on the 1ST Bistre Scout Group Santa Float 2025 Facebook page for the routes and get ready!
