BL Netball is raising money for Breast Cancer Now, a charity dedicated to funding vital research into improved diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of breast cancer.

Breast cancer affects 1 in 6 women, and many of us—along with our families, friends, and loved ones—have been impacted either directly or indirectly. As an all-women’s club of future healthcare professionals, this cause is particularly close to our hearts. We believe it is essential to support research that empowers women, improves outcomes, and helps reduce the long-term burden of this disease.

On 25th February, BL Netball will be taking part in an 11km fundraising Glow Walk around central London. Participants will be bedazzling a bra or T-shirt to raise awareness, show solidarity, and support this important cause.

Every donation helps fund life-changing research and brings us one step closer to a future where breast cancer affects fewer lives.
