Regents Park 10k
Campaign by Cities for Children (RCN 1170215)
For the second time, the Blackstone team is running to support CfC, this time in Regents Park on April 27th. They will be raising awareness and donations for children in urban poverty in Pakistan and refugee children in London.

Story

We (Danish, Gianni, Mary Kate, Jess, Ben, Faiz, Louis, Rebecca and Jinny from the Blackstone Finance team) are running a 5/10k for ‘Cities for Children’ at Regent’s Park on 27th April. We’ve decided to run for Cities for Children because they help children who are otherwise invisible, on the margins of cities and they facilitate creative learning sessions for children from refugee backgrounds. Cities for Children believes that every child deserves the right to a childhood - to be able to read, play and feel safe regardless of their background. Your support would make a big difference to this small charity, going directly towards their programmes creating happy memories and building resilience for children in challenging circumstances.

Your support can make a real difference, helping to fund programmes that create happy memories and build resilience in challenging circumstances. For a small charity with a big heart:

• £20 could provide storybooks for early literacy sessions with 3-6 year olds

• £100 could provide hot meals incentivising out-of-school children to attend learning spaces

• £500 could fund a series of sessions building confidence and agency for refugee children in London

• £1,000 could fund a whole programme including art, literacy, numeracy and science sessions for children who struggle to attend and stay in school

Thank you very much!
