The Dartmouth Blades crew are once again gearing up for an incredible challenge as we prepare to compete in The Great River Race on September 20, 2025. This remarkable event will see us rowing 21.6 miles along the Thames, all in support of the Torbay and South Devon NHS Charity. Our goal is to raise £4,000 for the Ricky Grant Day Centre, a vital resource for those affected by cancer.

This cause holds a special significance for our team, particularly for one of our crew members who has been living with cancer and receiving treatment at the Unit. The Ricky Grant Day Centre at Torbay Hospital provides essential chemotherapy and associated treatments, along with education and support for individuals living with cancer. The funds we raise will directly enhance the care and services offered to patients, making a profound difference in their lives.
