Hyrox London Autumn 2024 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Hyrox London Autumn 2024 · 30 November 2024 ·
On 30th November at the ExCeL, I’ll be taking part in the HYROX event in memory of my wife’s Nan, Sylvia Skeleton, who showed incredible strength in her long battle with cancer. She fought off skin, breast, and mouth cancer, but in September 2023, she was diagnosed with terminal melanoma that had spread to her liver. She passed away on 28th November 2023 at the age of 68.
Macmillan Cancer Support was a lifeline for Sylvia and for us. Their support made an enormous difference, giving us the care we needed during some of the hardest moments. My wife, Kelsea, ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Macmillan and raised over £2,000 in Sylvia’s honour. Now, I’m continuing her efforts by taking on HYROX to raise funds for Macmillan, who helped us through those difficult days.
This event isn’t just about a fitness challenge for me—it’s about remembering Sylvia and ensuring that other families receive the same help and support. Your donation, no matter how small, can help Macmillan continue their incredible work. Please visit my JustGiving page and contribute if you can.
Thank you so much for your support—it means a great deal to me and my family.
