Blair's fundraiser for Chester Male Voice Choir

Blair Wilson is raising money for Chester Male Voice Choir
In memory of Fred Warren
We are a long established award winning Male Voice Choir in Chester. We are some 50 strong with a charitable ethos and strong comradeship and social ethos. We perform up to 30 times a year in concert with some half being for or in support of local and national Charities. We are not for profit.

Story

The Cestrian Male Voice Choir, as it was originally known was founded in 1941 under the directorship of Fred Warren. Fred led the choir for many years and was instrumental in the choir's sucess.

After Fred's death a memorial bench was bought and placed in the Grosvenor Park in Chester. This bench has stood there for a long time now and it starting to rot. It desperately needs replacing. We need to raise in the region of £1000 to replace Fred's Memorial Bench. This is a huge amount of money for the choir to pay and we would like to give the opportunity to supporters of the choir to donate to replacing Fred's bench, before it becomes so bad that the authorities remove it and we lose that precious memory.
