Story

Friends and family,

I’m so excited to be running the Chicago Marathon this fall, and I’m asking for your support. Through a charity bib, I’ll be raising money for Esperanza Health Centers, an organization with a meaningful mission of delivering health and hope to Chicago’s underserved communities. As a former emergency medicine PA, I know firsthand how important primary care resources, like those provided by Esperanza Health Centers, are to supporting patients where they’re at and keeping them out of the emergency department. For Esperanza, that mission goes back over two decades:

Esperanza was founded in 2004 by Little Village residents and Saint Anthony Hospital to bring accessible primary care to Chicago’s Southwest Side. Today, with seven sites and over 400 staff, Esperanza provides bilingual, high quality primary care, behavioral health and wellness services to more than 50,000 patients a year, regardless of immigration status, insurance status, or ability to pay.

Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful impact.

With gratitude,

Blake
