Story

On 29 September 2023, a group of colleagues from Blake Morgan LLP's London office (Milly Dent, Beth Ellis, Jade Curran, Martha Price, Helen Bunker, Fernanda de Faria, Lisha Gorsia, Mandeep Sahota, Rachel Knight, Ellie Catling, Hattie Brown, James Robinson and Thomas Jenkins) will be trekking 25km across the capital, taking in unrivalled views of the skyline and historic landmarks. Setting out from Putney Bridge and heading East towards the city centre, we'll zig-zag over 16 historic bridges. The trek will end at Tower Bridge for some celebratory drinks at the finish line.

This is all to raise money for a fantastic cause. Blake Morgan LLP are proud to partner with the British Heart Foundation and to raise funds that will help the charity fund lifesaving research.

In October 2022, we sadly lost Lawrence Phillips, a consultant and former partner in our Corporate team, following a sudden and unexpected heart attack. Lawrence was a fantastic lawyer and above all, a great friend to many. He brought commercial flair, wisdom and fun to all his relationships, both with colleagues and clients, and was a much respected and admired partner at the firm.

With heart and circulatory diseases killing one in four people in the UK, its inspiring to know that our fundraising could make a real impact for such an important cause and honour Lawrence's memory.
