Defying cries of "no wonder you're extinct", our four purple dinosaurs trudged on valiantly with their frying pan - sadly, not to victory, but they had fun nonetheless!

On 13 February, a brave team from our Reading office will be swapping their laptops for frying pans and flipping their way through the streets of Reading in pursuit of pancake-glory.

To add to the fun, they will be doing all this in fancy dress!

This is all in aid of Launchpad, a fantastic local charity working to prevent homelessness.

What is the Pancake Race?

Launchpad's Pancake Race sees local businesses don their best fancy dress, flip pancakes in relay races down Broad Street and batter it out for the coveted frying pan trophy!

All funds raised at the Pancake Race will help fund Launchpad's vital services for people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home which includes supported housing, a free drop-in service for anyone in housing crisis and our work and life skills centre.
