Hastings Marathon 2026 · 22 March 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

We are run by volunteers and rely on donations and fundraising. We give riders of all ages the chance to enjoy the benefits of being with horses. We offer lessons and hacking on our sensory trail. We also offer Tea with a Pony sessions for those with dementia or other lifelong conditions.

Story

Blake and Felix, two of our riders will be running the Hastings Mini Run on the 22nd March alongside their brothers, while their Uncle Jack takes on the challenge of the Hastings Half Marathon. Together, they are raising funds for Fairlight Hall Riding for the Disabled, an organization that provides invaluable opportunities for individuals with disabilities to experience the joy and freedom of horse riding.

This cause is close to our hearts, as it empowers those who face challenges every day. By contributing to this fundraising effort, you are not just donating; you are helping to create moments of happiness and connection for those who benefit from these riding programs. Your support can make a significant difference in their lives.

We asked Blake why he liked coming to the RDA, he said

"I like horses and it gives me an opportunity to learn things that I wouldnt have been able to plus its really fun and I love the Volunteers!"
