I have been a patient at Moorfields for many years and I do not have the words to express how important the work and research they undertake is.

Moorfields Eye Charity fund research which expands our understanding and knowledge of eye disease. They help bring new treatments to patients, which is life changing. New innovations, equipment and ideas bring world class treatments to patients. Moorfields Eye Charity fund this.

As well as training Doctors and Specialists from all over world, Moorfields educate patients. The staff are able to answer questions, discuss conditions and disease and reassure patients about their Eye problems. Simply they are compassionate, understanding, caring.

Presently there are around 2 million people in UK who have impaired vision and the number is set to rise in the future.

Although a diagnosis of Sight Loss is devastating and living with Sight Loss is challenging, I have met the most fantastic people, learned so much and get amazing treatment and support.
