Both of our parents suffered from Parkinsons and my brothers and I learnt a lot from them on how to deal with adversity in life. However, a cure for the condition would be better. The challenge of riding from Lands End to John O'Groats (1,650k) is a big one but adding in a purpose beyond "a ride" makes it all the more fulfilling.
