We’re taking on an exciting club-wide challenge to raise vital funds for grassroots football at Bolton Lads & Girls Club.

From Tuesday 24th February 2026, our players and coaches will cycle virtually from Bolton to Budapest over 10 days – finishing on Saturday 7th March at the Champions League Final venue.

But there’s a twist…

⚽ It’s Coaches vs Kids – who will reach Budapest first? 🚴‍♂️

Each evening, our teams will be riding static bikes indoors at the club, covering the distance across 10 European checkpoints. It’s fun, competitive and brings the whole club together — but most importantly, it helps raise funds to support our football programme.

Like all grassroots clubs, we rely on fundraising to provide:

Training facilities

Pitch hire

Opportunities for children and young people

We work hard to keep our subs as low as possible so football at BLGC remains accessible to everyone. That means events like this are essential to help us continue providing safe, positive and inspiring opportunities for local children.
