Why Bliss?
Parents cant choose the time it takes to travel to visit their baby at hospital, so we have chosen to Take 60 minutes of our time to help support more families to be by their babies side.
More than 1 in 3 parents told Bliss that they travel over 1 hour to and from the hospital to see their baby, with more than half of these parents having to travel by public transport. Parent-child bonding during those initial few days, weeks is so important, so Bliss helping to bridge that gap will have a profound and lasting effect on all their lives.
Having spent nearly three weeks in hospital ourselves, with our parents making the daily commute, this is a cause close to our hearts. Bliss were there for our parents, sweeping in like superheroes to help without being asked; providing essentials for premature babies, such as smaller and adapted baby grows or feeding support. Even just someone to talk to as they sat beside our incubators.
Please help us to help Bliss support families with babies born premature or sick.
