Story
My name is Blossom, and I’m 13 years old living with FND. This condition affects me every day. It impacts my senses, my eating, and often leaves me feeling drained and exhausted. I want to take part in more activities, but there are many challenges that hold me back. Because of FND, I don’t always get to enjoy life the way I’d like to.
I spend my time baking and cooking, and I try to keep busy by doing things in small bursts to stay active.
On the 2nd of May, I’m planning a small fundraising event with my friends and family to raise money and awareness for FND.
We are currently looking for donations for our raffle, tombola, and water and wine stall. If you have anything you’d like to contribute, it would be greatly appreciated. Even sharing the link to my story can help raise awareness.
A little bit about FND:
Functional Neurological Disorder is a condition where the brain struggles to send and receive signals properly, causing real, involuntary symptoms such as weakness, tremors, seizures, and cognitive difficulties.
We are still looking for donations for raffle/ tombola/ water and wine stall.
