Why I’m jumping into the North Sea on Boxing Day… 🥶
This Boxing Day I’ll be running into the sea at Redcar (in December… in the North Sea… what could possibly go wrong? 😂) to raise money for Street Paws https://streetpaws.org.uk– a small charity that provides free vet care and support for the pets of people experiencing homelessness.

As many of you know, I run Blue-Bee Dog Grooming in Borough Park, Redcar (https://blue-beedogs.co.uk}. I see every day how much our dogs mean to us. For people who are homeless or in very vulnerable situations, their dog is often their only constant, their family, and their reason to keep going.
Street Paws helps make sure those dogs can:
*Get veterinary care when they’re unwell
*Have access to vaccinations and microchipping
*Stay with their person in pet-friendly hostels and accommodation, so no one has to choose between a bed and their best friend
This winter, I wanted to do something that felt a bit bigger than just eating my bodyweight in stuffing. So instead, I’ll be throwing myself into the sea at Redcar and turning my Boxing Day Dip (and Christmas tips at Blue-Bee) into donations for Street Paws.
If you’d like to support, you can:
*Sponsor my Boxing Day Dip by donating on this page
*If you’re one of my lovely Blue-Bee clients, you can also add to the pot in the salon
Every pound genuinely makes a difference to a dog and a person facing a really tough time.
Thank you so much for any support you can give – and please feel free to share this page.
