Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The children Fund is part of the Worcestershire Acute hospitals Charity, they support children across the region, receiving treatment, help and support.

The team do an incredible job of bring happiness to children undergoing cancer treatment, to name a few examples, the fund has helped provide wheelchairs and push chairs to patients to help enable mobility, they have supplied craft items to help as a distraction to every day life, the fund also provides Christmas gifts and a magical Santa grotto, bringing moments of happiness in stressful and sad times.

The beautiful little lady that has had a direct impact on us here, is Neath, a lovely, happy and brilliant 12 year old, better known as smiler! she had wanted to raise some money herself but sadly lost her battle.

Very recently Dave from our fleet teams Niece, Kayla, has for the second time been diagnosed with acute Lymphoblastic leukaemia and is under going treatment, this has urged us to come up with something demanding and challenging to push us to support any charity that has or can help in battling to provide help or resources for the amazing young people that have suffered.

Both lovely young ladies have been supported by -

The Children of Worcestershire Cancer Fund

Birmingham Children's hospital

Leukaemia Care

The fleet team boys are planning a 100 mile kayak from Wales to England, they are really not experienced as have been out on the water a handful times, but their belief is, if its not a challenge to push themselves to show their love and support then there would be no point in doing it.

Please show love and support for any of the three charities and their individual links.

Thank you.
