Bluebird Care Lanarkshire’s story
Every day, thousands of families are impacted by dementia, and for many, the challenges can feel insurmountable. Not only do individuals with dementia and their families face the emotional and mental toll of the disease, but they also navigate a difficult journey of managing health, finances, and care. This can result in feelings of isolation and a lack of access to essential support, including high-quality care, emotional support, and respite.
Bluebird Care, in partnership with Alzheimer’s Scotland, is working to change this reality. Through our collaborative efforts, we are raising vital funds to provide better care, support, and resources for those affected by dementia.
To help raise awareness and funds, on 24 August, four of our team will be taking on an exhilarating challenge: ziplining across the River Clyde at speeds of up to 100mph. It's an exciting way to bring attention to an incredibly important cause, and we invite you to support this effort by donating to our JustGiving page.
Every donation will help improve the lives of those affected by dementia, giving them better access to care, services, and the support they need to live well. Join us in making a lasting impact and supporting Alzheimer’s Scotland in their mission to create a world where no one faces dementia alone.
