Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m abseiling down Coventry Cathedral to help celebrate 50 years of Central England Law Centre — and to raise money for an organisation that’s been a big part of my family’s life for over two decades.
My wife, Elayne, has devoted so much of her career to the Law Centre, and over the years I’ve seen just how much it means to people across Coventry. During my time as a firefighter, I often met people on some of their toughest days — and I know how important it is to have someone on your side. That’s exactly what the Law Centre does, helping people facing things like homelessness, employment issues, discrimination, poverty, immigration issues and family problems.
They provide free legal advice to those who might otherwise have nowhere to turn, and after 50 years they’re still going strong. It’s something I really believe in — even if throwing myself off Coventry cathedral wasn’t originally part of the plan!
If you’re able to sponsor me, even a small amount, it will go towards helping people in our community get the support they need when life gets overwhelming. Thanks so much for your support — it really does make a difference.
