Story
I will be one of the contestant on Blue Lights got Talent and will be competing for Guts UK in memory of my dad who passed away due to Pancreatitis. Guts UK are the only charity in UK to fund research into Pancreatitis and other stomach conditions. I have worked in the NHS for ten years working respiratory for 8 years in Raigmore Hospital and currently in the Rheumatology Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital. I will be performing a song by by favourite band Judas Priest alongside my band Stolen Order. Judas Priest not only gave me the strength to continue working for NHS during covid-19 after losing my dad but inspired me to become a singer which I now am :)
The Celebrating Amy team are back this year with another incredible event, honouring the life of Amy Tuach who sadly died in 2022. Blue Light’s Got Talent will take place in the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness, on Saturday 21st September 2024, with organisers describing it as the biggest fun-filled, variety talent show the Highlands will ever have seen.
But there is a twist – all participants are members of the emergency services or care sector!
Event organisers are about to launch their search for talented staff of the NHS, police service, fire service, prison service, coastguard service, armed forces or care system, who are willing to come forward and display their talents to help put on the biggest show of the year, performances will be scored from audience votes and judges scoring and the winning act will walk away with £1000 to donate to their chosen charity.
Blue Light’s Got Talent will raise funds for Highland Hospice and Cash for Kids.
