On Saturday 2nd August 2025, over 40 employees from Blue Machinery Central will be bouncing, running and crawling our way through the Inflatable 5K in Knutsford – the UK’s biggest inflatable obstacle run, featuring a wild 5K course and 32 gigantic inflatables!

We’re doing it to raise money for a truly special cause: the Smiley Smiley Josh Riley Foundation.

This incredible charity was founded in memory of Josh Riley – a young man who brought joy, warmth, and laughter wherever he went. His legacy lives on through the foundation’s mission: to bring smiles, connection, and unforgettable memories to young adults facing cancer.

The Foundations mission is to raise funds to purchase a luxury log cabin retreat in the peaceful beauty of the Lake District, to accommodate young cancer patients (aged 18–40) and their families. This space will offer short breaks to reconnect, reflect, and create precious memories together – moments that are often missed during cancer treatment. Thanks to all the superb support the lodge has now been purchased with it fully booked out for 2025 for those in need. The journey is only just beginning as the foundation needs funds to support the substantial running costs and deliver on its mission.

This cabin will be a place filled with laughter, love, and life – just like Josh. It’s about giving others the time and space to be together, to celebrate, and to make memories that last a lifetime.
